I first got into photography at school, I
couldn't decide on what I wanted to do for my GCSE final in art, so my
teacher suggested that I have a look at the photography theme.
I
read the theme and thought it was interesting, so I ended up filling
different bottles up with coloured water and then photographed the
colours and shapes that the sunlight created while shinning through the
glass.
After School I did Art & Design in
Bangor tech for two years, then I went traveling with a mate to
Australia and Thailand for a few months.
Upon arriving back in Wales I was a bit lost because most my
friends had started university while I was away. I looked back on what I
had done in College and school and in both areas I had enjoyed
photography, so off I went to Nottingham to study Photography and
Digital imaging. I did various types of photography, studio, still life,
portraiture, architecture and landscapes.
After finishing my course at Nottingham I
moved back home to the Llyn Peninsula and started taking landscape
imagery of the surrounding area. I've recently moved down to Cardiff to
further my portfolio in various kind of photography. I have a real
passion for photography and thoroughly enjoy the work that I do so
I hope you enjoy and like what you see. |
